Chris & Elizabeth’s wedding at the Madison Hotel was the picture of springtime elegance—
I had the privilege to capture Chris & Elizabeth’s wedding on 4 different analog formats: 35mm film, 120mm film, Polaroids, and Super 8 video. I got to work parallel to an incredible photo/video team (shout out The Lumière Collective!) who documented the day using slightly more modern technology than me (i.e. digital cameras), making it so that between all of us, Chris & Elizabeth are now able to re-live their wedding day and feel that dreamy nostalgia that is inherent to film. This wedding was truly so thought out and beautifully designed—its simplicity made it feel truly timeless. I hope that when C & E look back on their wedding photos 20 years from now, they will remember the specific emotions they were experiencing on this sunny Thursday in May, at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ.
