The Process

01.
Consultation

I start with a consultation to get to know your vision and ideas. This is where we discuss your goals for your wedding or session, and any specific moments and details that you would like to immortalize through photos. By the end of this conversation, I’ll have a clear understanding of how to bring your vision to life and whether I am the right photographer for you.

02.
Booking

Once we’re aligned on the details, we’ll move on to booking. I’ll provide a contract outlining the session specifics, and a deposit will secure your date. This step confirms everything so we can begin the creative process.

03.
Planning

In the planning stage, we’ll finalize all the details. Through questionnaires and/or video calls, we’ll choose locations, plan the timeline, and discuss any outfits or props.

04.
Shoot

Finally, it’s time for the shoot! On the day, I’ll create a relaxed and fun atmosphere to capture the genuine connection that you have with your partner or family. If you feel  awkward or uncomfortable in front of the camera, fear not! While I do prioritize documenting the candid moments, I will provide direction as to how to position yourselves in order to create beautiful images that you feel the most yourself in.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes!! I include two(ish) hours each way of travel for weddings and elopements, and one(ish) hour each way for sessions. I am grateful to live in a pretty centrally located area so here are some common destinations that I am within 2 hours of: NYC, Philadelphia, (most of) the Jersey Shore, Nassau County Long Island, lower and middle Hudson Valley, Hoboken, Princeton, The Poconos, and so many more places! Beyond the hours of travel that are included, I may charge for millage or airfare as well as any accommodations if it were necessary for me to stay the night, (depending on the location of course.) However there are certain locations that I may wave or reduce travel fees for depending on my connection to the place and/or my desire to shoot there, so it truly never hurts to ask!

  • While I never guarantee a specific number, I can tell you that on average, I deliver around 100 images/hour of shooting. Certain factors, such as if a second shooter is included in your wedding package or if you are doing a fully film session, will impact the number of images you receive.

  • My turn around time for weddings at the moment is around 6 weeks and for sessions is around 2-3 weeks. These turn around times are subject to change during the busiest months of the year (i.e. May—November), however I do my very best to send out your galleries in a timely fashion. I hand edit every single photo that you receive (I do not outsource editing or use AI to do that work for me) which means that I am taking time with each and every photo in your gallery!

  • Great question—I’m so glad you asked!! So basically the difference lies in the quality and quantity.

35mm film is the standard consumer grade film—probably the type of film your childhood photos were taken on (if you were born prior to the 21st century like me!) 35mm is the format that I use most often. There are 36 photos in one roll of 35mm film.

120 film, otherwise known as medium format, is a more elevated film format. The actual negatives are larger than 35mm film, meaning that more photographic data can be captured and stored in each photo, resulting in sharper, richer images. I adore shooting 120 film and am starting to lean more into this format! There 16 images in one roll of 120 film.

  • Yes for sure! In the wedding welcome guide that I will send you once you inquire, I have a list of à la carte add on’s which include options like photo coverage of the welcome party or the day-after brunch, but if I haven’t listed what you are specifically looking, just ask me about what you have in mind!
