Documenting life through film photography allows me to create art out of the fleeting moments that inspire a sense of wonder and reverence —

The thing I have always loved about taking photos is capturing “micro-moments” - those split seconds where nothing else exists except what is being experienced by those who are present. A wild flower smiling at the sun, a honey bee voyaging down an index finger, fluffy sheep soaking up sun rays, a lonely ice fisher standing in the middle of a porcelain lake. All of these photos shown here were shot on a Canon AE-1 that I inherited from my mom. Since 2018, this camera has been my companion on just about every hike, beach trip, vacation, field-frolic, and spontaneous excursion that I’ve been on. I hope you enjoy looking through some of my favorite shots from over the years!
